Inspector General of Police apologized over Statement On Benue Killings

The Inspector-General Of Police, Ibrahim Idris on Wednesday apologized to Benue people over an earlier statement in which he referred to the new year deadly herders attacks on communities in logo and Guma Local Government Areas of the state as communal clashes, pledging to bring the culprits to justice.
The inspector general of police tendered the apology during an emergency stakeholders meeting at government house Makurdi, shortly on arrival in the state as directed by president Muhammadu Buhari.
